Abstract

ABSTRACT The Pre Contract process is a process where the assignor and the Consultant team make preparations before the project is carried out in the field, while in the Post Contract itself it is a process in which the monitoring of work during implementation in the field until the handover process by the Task Recipient to the Task Giver. By examining the stages of both Pre Contract and Post Contracts, it is possible to identify the responsible parties, problems that often arise such as the difference in the Budget that occurs between the Estimated Cost and the value that comes out on the Bill of Quantity (BQ) at the time of Pre Contract and the problem is, the scope of the contract that occurs during the Post Contract which is a problem that often arises in the Consultant Quantity Surveyor as an independent party between the Assignor and the Beneficiary, a comparison between the current budget for Cost Estimation and the results of the Bill of Quantity (BQ) The results of this study provide an answer that the BQ value with calculation accuracy in accordance with the Standard of Remeusurment is not too much of a difference in value with the level of accuracy produced by the initial estimate which is the estimated budget value calculated by the Quantity Surveyor.
