Abstract

ABSTRACT Putri Salsa Billa/ 1800861201126 / Faculty Of Economics Management /The Effect Of Working Capital Turnover And Inventory Turnover With The Current Ratio As An Intervening Variable On Stock Prices The Cable Sub Sector Industry On The Indonesian Stock Exchange Periode 20142020 / 1 st Advisor Dr. Ali Akbar, SE, MM, CRP and 2 nd Ira Febrianti, S.E., M.S.Ak The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the effect of working capital turnover directly and not directly against the current ratio, working capital turnover and inventory turnover in a simultaneously to stock prices, the effect of inventory turnover directly and not directly on the share price and the effect of working capital turnover and inventory turnover to the share price through the current ratio in the Cable Sub-Sector Industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2014-2020. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, i.e. a method that serves to describe or give an overview to the object under study through predetermined data or samples as it is. The type of research used in this study is data secondary, that is, data obtained by the company that is processed other parties. The analysis method in this study is path analysis (Path Analysis) developed as a method for studying the influence or effect directly and indirectly of a variable free against related variables. This analysis is one of the options in to study the dependence of a number of variables in the model. Researchers select Cable Sub-Sector Industry companies that are already registered on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as many as 6 companies. Along with the planned capacity increase electricity of 35000 megawatts by the Indonesian state government as written in the MediumTerm Development Plan (RPJMN) of 2015-2020. The performance of the cable sector will continue to improve during construction infrastructure is still a priority for the Indonesian government. There is a significant influence between working capital turnover and inventory turnover on stock prices. The turnover of working capital has no effect on the Current Ratio because the calculated t value > t from the table (8,153 > 2,02269). Part of the inventory turnover affects the Current Ratio. there is no influence between the turnover of working capital and the turnover of inventory on the stock price. because the calculated value of table t value > t from (3,302 > 2,02269) and inventory turnover to stock prices the calculated value from t value < t from (1,544 < 2,02269). partly The current ratio has an influence on the development of stock prices. The total direct and indirect effect of working capital turnover and inventory turnover on the Current Ratio was 64,82%. the direct effect of working capital turnover (X1) on the Share Price (Z) is valued at 20.88%. effect of Current Ratio (Y) on stock price (Z) 14.21%, his indicates that the Current Ratio directly affects the stock price. The total direct and indirect effect of capital and inventory turnover on stock prices through a current ratio of 11,65%.
