Abstract
ABSTRAC (Sherina Hulu/1800861201273/2021) Thesis Title Influence Of Dicipline To Employee Performance At The Grand Hotel Jambi City/First Mentor Nuraini,SE,MM/Second Guide Ubaidillah,SE,M.M) The background of the writing is to determine the level of discipline ofn employee performance at the Grand Hotel Jambi City company,whether there is firmness given by the leadership to employees who violate discipline and by knowing whether there is an influence of discipline on performance at the Grand Hotel Jambi City. In writing this thesis,a qualitative approach isused,namely by using sveral data collections such as interviews,observations,and also the distribution of questionnaires,this research was taken directly by resource persons who were at the Grand Hotel Jambi City,namely employees from the Grand Hotel Kota Jambi,the data processing technique in the research is descriptive analysis,which is a method that systematically describes the state of the field. Grand Hotel Jambi City has various facilities offered to guests who visit,such as airport shuttle,steam bath,Spa,air conditioning,massage service,24-hour room revice,ans many more facilities that guests can enjoy,Grand Hotel Jambi City also enforces work shifts for employees consisting of four shifts,namely morning,afternoon,evening,and night. Based on calculations related to the effect of employee discipline on performance,get positive results from the results of simple linear regression,namely the equation Y = 0,228 + 0,966 X then it can be interpreted if thee is an increase1% then there is an increase in performance at theGrand Hotel Jambi City by 96,6. from the result of determination(R 2 ) then get the value 0,636,this can be interpreted as the ability of the related variable isequal to 63,6%. Obtained from the t-test distribution value t hitung 10.318 > t tabel 1.99962 then it can be said H 0 rejected and H 1 accepted,it can be said that there is a significant relationship between employee performance,hi statistical testing also shows a significant level of 0,00 < 0,05 so that it can be interpreted that discipline has a significant effect on employee performance.
