Abstract

ABSTRACT (Sulastri / 1700861201355 / The Effect of Inflation, Exchange Rate (Idr/USD), Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio to Net Profit in Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange on Period 2016-2020 / 1 st Advisor Dr. Ali Akbar, SE., M.M CRP, 2 nd Advisor Masnun, SE., M.S.Ak) The purpose of establishing a company is to optimize the profits obtained so that its business continuity is guaranteed and can develop its business. The food and beverage industry sub-sector which consists of food and beverage companies is also experiencing financial difficulties at this time. Therefore, it is necessary to have an effective and efficient financial management. The appropriate analytical method in this research is descriptive method, which can be divided into: Qualitative Descriptive That is a method that serves to create an overview of the facts that exist in the field based on theories that exist in the literature related to this research. Quantitative Descriptive That is a method that serves to create a mathematical picture based on calculations from research results. Food and beverage companies are part of the manufacturing industry, where the food and beverage sub-sector is the largest contributor to state revenue in the manufacturing sector. The population of companies in the food and beverage subsector during the period 2016 – 2020 consisted of 18 (eighteen) issuers. The sample in this study was 9 (nine) issuers. The sample consisted of PT Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia, Tbk. PT Delta Djakarta, Tbk. PT Indofood Sukses Makmur, Tbk. PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo, Tbk. PT Sekar Laut, Tbk. PT Ultra Jaya Milk Industry & Trading,Tbk. PT Moyora Indah, Tbk. PT Akasha Wira International, Tbk. PT Multi Bintang Indonesia, Tbk. Based on the results of the regression analysis conducted in this study, it can be concluded that simultaneously Inflation, Exchange Rate (Idr/USD), Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio together have a significant effect on Net Profit. It can be seen that fcount is greater than fttable, namely 19.291 > 2.61 with a significant level of 0.05 then 0.000 < 0.05 Based on the results of the regression analysis conducted in this study, it can be concluded that simultaneously Inflation, Exchange Rate (Idr/USD), Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio together have a significant effect on Net Profit. Partially, inflation and debt to equity ratio have a significant effect on net income while the exchange rate (Idr/USD) and current ratio have no significant effect on net income.
