Abstract

ABSTRACT (NIA ENDAH SETIYOWATI/ 1800861201019 /THE EFFECT OF TRAINING ON THE PERFORMANCE OF CIVIL SERVANTS (PNS) AT THE DANAU TELUK SUB-DISTRICT OFFICE IN JAMBI CITY. 1 SUPERVISOR Dr. JONNER SIMARMATA, MM; 2 ND SUPERVISOR ANISAH SE, MM) The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the training and performance of civil servants at the Teluk Danau Subdistrict Office of Jambi City. To find out and test the effect of training on employee performance. To answer the research objectives, the author uses a theoretical study related to training and performance variables. In addition, the author is also looking for relevant previous research in the form of previous articles/journals and thesis to support this research. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were civil servants at the District Office of Danau Teluk Jambi City with a sample of 39 people. The analysis technique uses a simple linear regression equation, then continued with r square testing and hypothesis testing through ttest. From the data management carried out, the results of the regression equation Y = 1.505 + 0.558X. while from testing the hypothesis, it was found that training had a significant effect on the performance of civil servants. Based on the data analysis and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that training has a positive and significant effect on the performance of civil servants at the Teluk Danau Subdistrict Office of Jambi City. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that it is expected that the sub-district office of the Danau Teluk Jambi City will improve the training program by paying attention to the aspects of training, in order to improve the performance of its employees. And to improve employee performance, it is necessary to improve the quality and time because based on quality and time indicators are still relatively low, the performance of civil servants at the Teluk Danau Subdistrict Office of Jambi City needs to be considered.
