Abstract

ABSTRACT RESTU MARTHA RIANY / 1700861201081 / FINANCE MANAGEMENT / 2021 / EFFECT OF CURRENT RATIO, DEBT TO EQUITY RATIO AND RETURN ON EQUITY OF PRICE TO BOOK VALUE IN THE PROPERTY AND REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY IN THE INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE PERIOD 2015-2019 / Advisor I Dr. Yunan Surono, SE, MM / Advisor II Albetris, SE, MM. In financial activities, the process associated with obtaining funds and minimizing finances is called financial management. This effort is also useful in managing finances to achieve financial goals. Financial management is part of the company's management activities in accordance with the company's goals that have been set. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Return On Equity (ROE) on Price to Book Value partially and simultaneously in the Property and Real Estate Industry for the period 2014-2019. The type of data used in this research is quantitative secondary data regarding the annual financial statements. The data in this study can be obtained from the financial statements of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which are included in the Property and Real Estate Industry group for the period 2014-2019. The sample of this research is companies that are included in the Property and Real Estate Industry category using the purpose sampling method. The analytical tools used in this research are classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. There are 5 companies that meet the criteria that have been set as the research sample. This study uses an analytical tool, namely multiple linear regression analysis. Simultaneous testing using F test and partial test using t test). The results showed that simultaneously CR, DER, and ROE had no and no significant effect on PBV. Fcount was greater than Ftable (1,966 <3.07), and partially CR had a significant effect on PBV with tcount > ttable, namely (2,234 > 2, 07961), DER has no significant effect on PBV with tcount < ttable (0.782 < 2.07961), and ROE has no significant effect on PBV with tcount < ttable i.e. 1.691 < 2.07961.
