Abstract

ABSTRACT SILVIA DWIRANTI / 1700861201271 / MANAGEMENT / ANALISYS OF COMPANY BANKRUPTCY USING THE ALTMAN ZSCORE METHOD IN THE TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY (SUB SECTOR OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION INDUSTRY) IN INDONESIAN STOCK EXCHANGE PERIOD 2015-2020 / Advisor 1.) Ahmadi, SE, MM. Advisor 2.) Albetris, SE, MM. This study aims to determine and analyze the bankruptcy of land transportation industry companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2015 – 2020 using the Altman Z-Score method. The research methodology used is quantitative data. The source of data used in this study is a secondary data source. After that it is analyzed using the Altman Z-Score method, namely the five X ratios, among others Working Capital to Total Assets (X1), Retained Earnings to Total Assets (X2), Earning Before Interest and Taxes to Total Assets (X3), Market Value of Equity To Book Of Liabilities (X4), Sales To Total Assets (X5. Then calculate the Z value of each company to determine the level of bankruptcy of the company. Land Transportation companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in this study are PT. Majapahit Inti Corpora Tbk, PT. Adi Sarana Armada Tbk, PT. Blue Bird Tbk, PT. Eka Sari Lorena Transport Tbk, PT. Mitra International Resources Tbk, PT. Sidomulyo Selaras Tbk, PT. Express Transindo Utama Tbk, dan PT. Weha Transportasi Indonesia Tbk. The bankruptcy ranking of the Land Transportation Industry listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2015-2020 period which can be seen in 2015 and 2016 the first rank is in PT. Weha Transportasi Indonesia Tbk. In 2017 and 2020 the first rank is in PT. Majapahit Inti Corpora Tbk. In 2018 the first rank is in PT. Blue Bird Tbk. In 2019 the first rank is in PT. Adi Sarana Armada Tbk. The results of this study indicate that by using the Altman Z-Score method there are 3 companies that did not experience bankruptcy, 1 company experienced bankruptcy prone (gray area), and 4 companies experienced bankruptcy potential.
