Abstract

ABSTRACT Yolanda Gasuka / 1700861201328 / Faculty Of Economics University Of Batanghari Jambi / The Influence Of Environmental Condition Of Work Toward Performance In Kantor Dinas Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jambi / 1 st advisor Dr. Osrita Hapsara,SE,MM / 2 advisor Ubaidillah,SE,MM. The purpose of this study was to determine the conditions of the work environment and employee performance at Kantor Dinas Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jambi and to determine the impact of the work environment on employee performance at Kantor Dinas Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jambi. In discussing this problem, the author uses a quantitative descriptive method, namely by seeking information about the symptoms, clearly defining the goals to be achieved, planning the approach, collecting data as material for making reports. In this study, the authors made a comparison between environmental conditions and employee performance at Kantor Dinas Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jambi. Dinas Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jambi are the implementing element of the government's envoy in the field of culture and tourism which is the regional authority. Dinas kebudayaan dan pariwisata provinsi jambi has the task of assisting the governor in carrying out government affairs in the field of culture and tourism which are the regional authority and the assistance tasks given to the province. The constant value of 0,221 means that if the work environment variable (x) is 0, then the performance variable (y) is 0,221. Furthermore, with the simple linear regression equation above, there is a positive value of the work environment variable regression coefficient which is 0,938. If the value of the work environment coefficient is positive, if there is a change in the work environment variable, it will cause a unidirectional change in the performance variable. In this study, it can be analyzed the magnitude of the influence of the work environment on performance that is equal to 0,938. This means that if the work environment at Kantor Dinas Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jambi increases by 1%, the employee's performance will increase by 93,8%. The work environment at Kantor Dinas Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jambi are good with an average score is 129,12. Furthermore, the performance of employees at Kantor Dinas Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jambi are good with an average score is 134. Based on the hypothesis test, it is known that there is a significant influence between the work environment and employee performance at Kantor Dinas Kebudayaan Dan Pariwisata Provinsi Jambi. This can be proven by the comparison between the t hitung nd > t table (6,588 > 1,692). The work environment can affect performance by 56,8% and the remaining 43,2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Keywords : Working Environment and Performance
