Abstract

ABSTRACT Andi Amelia Hastri/1600861201289 / 2022 / Batanghari University / Faculty of Economics Human Resource Management / The Influence of Leadership on Employee Performance at PT. Earth Gemilang Partners Jambi City. The First Advisor is Hj. Reni Devita, S.E, M.M and the Second Advisor is Ubaidillah, S.E, M.M. This research aims to identify and describe the leadership style and performance of employees at PT. Mitra Bumi Gemilang Jambi City As well as knowing and analyzing the influence of leadership style on employee performance at PT. Earth Gemilang Partners Jambi City. The object of analysis is PT. Mitra Bumi Gemilang, City of Jambi, which is engaged in housing, has its address at Talang Daffodils. Given that in this study the employees of PT. The number of Bumi Gemilang partners in Jambi City is 45 and less than 100, so the authors took all of them to be used as samples in this study. The method used is a quantitative method with the independent variable of leadership style and the dependent variable of employee performance. The analysis used in this research is simple linear regression analysis, correlation, determination, and t test. Simple linear regression results Y = 18,353 + 0.453 X. 18.353 This means that if the independent variable (leadership style) is considered equal to zero (0), then the value of the dependent variable (employee performance) is 18.353. +0.453 this is the coefficient value of the leadership style variable with a positive sign on employee performance with a regression coefficient value of 0.453. This shows that each value of the leadership style variable is increased by 1 point, the employee performance variable will increase by 0.453. The results showed that leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee performance due to a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. So that it can be said based on the results of testing the hypothesis that leadership style influences employee performance by 28.9% and the rest is influenced by other variables
