Abstract

AGUNG TOYOTA JAMBI CITY / 1st ADVISOR Dr. H. SYAIYID SYEKH, M. Si / 2st ADVISOR AZIZAH, S. E., M. M). Company Human resource management is inseparable from the employee factor which is expected to perform as well as possible in order to achieve the goals of the organization. Employees are the main asset of the organization and have a strategic role in the organization, namely as thinkers, planners and controllers of organizational activities. The quality of human resources will be fulfilled if discipline as an element that influences performance can be created perfectly. Discussing discipline will not be separated from the existence of factors that can affect one's discipline. In order to always be consistent, at least the company always pays attention to the environment in which employees carry out their duties. The research method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative method. Quantitative research is research that is structured to examine the possibility of a causal relationship between variables. The object of this study is located at PT Agung Toyota, Jambi City, which sells cars with the Toyota brand. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people who were employees of PT. Agung Toyota, Jambi City. Based on the test results of the coefficient of determination, it can be seen that work discipline and conflict have an influence on employee performance by 33.2% while the remaining 66.8% is influenced by other variables. The correlation value of 0.576 means that discipline and work conflict have a very strong relationship to employee performance. So it can be concluded that work discipline has an effect on employee performance, work conflict has an effect on employee performance, and work discipline and conflict has had an effect on the performance of sales employees at PT Agung Toyota Jambi City. It is suggested that further research can be continued and developed by measuring other factors that affect employee performance, and can be one of the variables. The results of this study can be used as a comparison and reference for research, and as a consideration for further in-depth research then with different variables.
