The Effectivenss of Spotify through English Song “Fall in Love Alone” by Stacey Ryan Towards Students’ Vocabulary Mastery at Eleventh Grade Students of Senior High School 9 Jambi City. Thesis. English Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences. University of Batanghari. First Advisor: Dr. Suyadi, MA. Second Advisor: Nurul Fitri S.Hum. This research aims to determine whether there is an effectiveness of the Spotify used as a media for learning student vocabulary through the song "Fall in Love Alone" by Stacey Ryan. This research is a quasi-experimental type and has a population of 240 students with 72 students who are the sample obtained by cluster sampling. XI IPA 2 class as experimental class and XI IPA 3 class as control class. The data collection technique used is by distributing questions to the research sample. In this research, the technique of analyzing data using the t-test on the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) program on windows version 21. The results of this research indicate that (1) students' vocabulary learning using Spotify as media through songs obtained an average score of 83,61 (2) students' vocabulary learning scores using conventional method obtained an average of 76,94. (3) students' vocabulary learning using Spotify is higher than the conventional method with a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, there is an effect of using spotify application through the song Fall in Love Alone by Stacey Ryan as evidenced by the increase in student outcomes.
