Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine simultaneously and partially the effect of the level of education in Jambi Province on the average length of schooling. And the Influence of Economic Growth on Income Inequality in Jambi Province in 2017-2021. The data used in this study multiple linear regression analysis. This study uses secondary data obtained from statistic center (BPS) in jambi province, journals that have anything to do with the issue of this writing. Analysis tools using quantitative methods. Quatitative approach, multiple regression analysis namely the presentations and arrangement of data into tables for analysis. The results of the simultaneous study of the level of education and economic growth have a negative and significant effect on income inequality. Partially, the results of the study show that education level and economic growth have a significant effect on income inequality. Independent Variables Level of education and Economic Growth affect the Dependent Variable Income inequality of 81.6%, while the remaining 19.4% is influenced by other variables outside this study Kata Kunci: Education, Economic Growth dan Income Inequality
