Abstract

ABSTRACK (RICKY SAPUTRA / 1800861201052 / THE EFFECT OF COMPENSATION ON EMPLOYEE JOB SATISFACTION AT PT. SINERGI TIGA MITRA USAHA. 1st ADVISOR Dr. OSRITA HAPSARA, S.E., M.M; 2nd ADVISOR AZIZAH, S.E., M.M). The existence of each organization will be maintained if the organization is able to optimize all its resources as optimally as possible, including PT. Sinergi Tiga Mitra Utama. As one of the companies engaged in refilling gas cylinders, PT. Sinergi Tiga Mitra Utama of course also expects to have qualified, superior, innovative human resources and have high creativity in carrying out their work. This study basically aims to determine and describe the compensation and job satisfaction of employees at PT. Sinergi Tiga Mitra Utama; and to analyze the effect of compensation on employee job satisfaction at PT. Sinergi Tiga Mitra Utama. To answer the research objectives, the authors use theoretical studies related to the research variables, namely compensation and employment. In addition, the authors also look for relevant previous research in the form of previous articles/journals and theses to support this research. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. With the population in this study are employees at PT. Sinergi Tiga Mitra Utama as many as 34 people. The analysis technique uses the regression equation, followed by testing the r Square and testing the hypothesis through a partial t test. From the data processing carried out, the regression equation Y = 0.920 + 0.742.X was obtained. Meanwhile, from the hypothesis testing conducted, the result is that compensation has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that PT. Sinergi Tiga Mitra Utama provides fairly good compensation to its employees, and the employees are also satisfied with their current job. In addition, there is a significant influence between compensation and employee job satisfaction at PT. Sinergi Tiga Mitra Utama. Where the magnitude of the effect of compensation on employee job satisfaction is equal to 65.9%, while the remaining 34.1% is influenced by other variables not included in this model. For this reason, it is hoped that in the future in order to increase employee job satisfaction, the leadership of PT. Sinergi Tiga Mitra Utama to conduct a review or review related to the salary that must be given to its employees, so that employees can feel satisfied with the salary they receive.
