Abstract

ABSTRACT SUPANGAT / 1600861201059 / FACULTY ECONOMIC OF MANAGEMENT / EFFECT OF INCENTIVE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE PUNDI I HOTELS JAMBI-CITY / 1st ADVISOR DR H SAYID SYEKH, MSI, 2nd ADVISOR ANISAH, SE, MM This reseach was fist, to analyse what is the level of incentive and employee performance at Pundi Hotel 1 Jambi City and how do incentives affect employee performance in Pundi Hotel 1 Jambi City The research methodology is descriptive and quantitative analysis methods. Data used is secondary data. The population become object in this research is employee at Pundi Hotel 1 Jambi City . The method for analysis is analysis simple regression, hypotesis test, correlation so determinant coefficient and t_test. The object of this research is employee in Pundi Hotel 1 Jambi City . Hotel Pundi I Jambi City is engaged in the hotel and tourism industry, which is located in The City-Jambi. Pundi 1 Hotel is one of the hotels owned by the Pundi. Hotel was first built in 2008 on Jl Sultan Iskandar Muda No 88 i Asam River, Market of Jambi District, Jambi City. This hotel stands in the middle of Jambi city, with the intention to make it easier for local and foreign tourists to find and meet their accommodation in Jambi province Analysis on the research the results showed that respondents material incentive indicators became the highest score of 135 categories satisfied. This suggests that employees of Hotel Pundi 1 Jambi city are satisfied with the rewards given by the hotel management. On the other hand, the average employee performance variable indicator of performance is 135 good categories. Where the indicator of punctuality in completing the job has the highest score of 139 good categories. On the indicator of punctuality, the employees understand the type of work carried out that is related to service or service to visitors. Therefore it must be done well and satisfy all work related to hotel visitors. Where the equation Regresinya is Y= 16.022 + 0.595X + e. Furthermore, incentives have a significant impact on karywan's performance and have a positive relationship to employee performance, characterized by >. ( 3,531 > 1,692) and pro.sig < α (0.05) or (0.001 < 0.05). On the other hand the correlation value ( r ) is 82.4%, meaning that the relationship of incentive variables to employee performance variables is very close. Conclusion, That incentive has a significant effect on employee performance and is positively related to employee performance. If the incentive of work increases it will give a significant increase in employee performance.
