Abstract

ABSTRACT Inda Arianti /1900861201088 /Faculty of University Economic Batanghari Jambi/ Management/ The Effect of Work Stress on Employee Performance at The Regional Psychiatric Hospital in Jambi Province / 1st Advisor (Dr. Osrita Hapsara, SE, MM) / 2nd Advisor (Khuluqon Azima, SE, MM) One of the service institutions in the field of mental health for the people of this city of Jambi one of the health service institutions for the people of Jambi City .The research aims to determine the partial effect of work stress variables on employee performance at the Regional Mental Hospital in Jambi Province. From initial data on the number of employees at the Regional Mental Hospital in Jambi Province continued to decline from 2018-2022 with a total of 215 employees The sample used was 56 people who became respondents. Data The collection methods in this study were interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. Methods of data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis. While the hypothesis the test used is simple linear regression analysis, t test, correlation coefficient and coefficient of determination Dr. M. Firmansyah as the main director of the Jambi Provincial Mental Hospital. This company serves as a provider mental health services and often as an integrated rehabilitation center for people with mental disorders, which is located on Jl. Dr. Purwadi No. KM. 9.5, Get to Know Big, Alam Barajo, Jambi City, Jambi 36129 tel. 0741-580254 Data processing in this study used the SPSS 22.00 for software program window. The partial test of work stress has a positive and significant effect employee performance. Based on the results of research conducted from this partial test test that work stress has a positive and significant effect employee performance The results of this study note that from the results of the t work test the stress variable is 22.508 with a t table value of 2.00488 or 22.508 > 2.00488. So t count > t table, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the independent variable has a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable. The coefficient of determination of 0.951 or 95.1% illustrates this there is an effect of work stress on employee performance of 95.1%, and the remaining 4,9% is influenced by other variables not examined in the study
