Abstract

ABSTRACT Alif Ivanka Purba / 1900861201114 / The Influence of Work Motivation on Employee Performance at PT. Maju Global Motor Jambi / Advisor 1st Dr. H. Saiyid Syehk, M.Si / Advisor 2nd Drs, Rasdi, M.M. The lack of motivation of employees is caused by employees not getting encouragement and direction in doing work because it is triggered by relationships between fellow employees who act individually. Even as a leader or boss, they don't give encouragement to foster enthusiasm and motivation for employees. So that employees are lazy at work and often pile up work. This is what reduces employee performance, because employees do not work optimally. This research method is descriptive quantitative using simple regression analysis. Research data were obtained from respondents through questionnaires with a total of 37 employees as respondents. Statistical analysis was carried out using the SPSS 20.0 program. The results obtained show that the significance value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05. Then the Adjusted R Square value is 0.94 or 94%. This means that the independent variable (work motivation) influences the dependent variable (employee performance) by 94% and the rest is influenced by other variables not included in this study. The conclusion of this study is the average overall score of work motivation at PT. Maju Global Motor Jambi is in the very high category, while the average overall employee performance score is in the high category. From the test results of the coefficient of determination, the R Square value is 0.94 or 94%. This shows the independent variable (work motivation) affects the dependent variable (employee performance). From the results of the t test, the results obtained a significance value of 0.000. The results of these calculations state that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance because the significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05. This means that work motivation can affect employee performance.
