Abstract

ABSTRACT BACHTIAR ADAM / NIM : 1900861201236 / FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT ECONOMICS / THE INFLUENCE OF JOB SATISFACTION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IN DANAU SIPIN DISTRICT OFFICE, JAMBI CITY / ADVISOR I Dr. H. SAIYID SYEKH, M.Si / ADVISOR II SAKINAH AS, S.E., M.M. Based on data on target achievement and performance realization at the Danau Sipin Sub-District Office, Jambi City from 2018 - 2022 with a total realization percentage of 90%, it means that the target and performance realization at the Danau Sipin Sub-District Office, Jambi City have not reached 100%. This study uses a quantitative descriptive analysis method which aims to determine how much influence job satisfaction has on employee performance at the Danau Sipin sub-district office, Jambi City. Data collection methods used were field research, interviews, questionnaires and library research such as reading books, journals and previous theses. Based on data taken at the Danau Sipin Sub-district Office, Jambi City, the authors detail the general history of the agency, agency objectives, agency strategies and policies, vision and mission, as well as organizational structure and functions. Based on the results of research conducted by the author to collect the necessary data, namely by distributing questionnaires to 32 respondents and discussing clearly and in detail that job satisfaction has an influence on employee performance, so if performance increases, employee performance at the Danau Sipin Sub-District Office, Jambi City will increase. Conclusions and suggestions from the results of this study, namely based on statistical tests it is known that there is a significant influence between job satisfaction on employee performance at the Danau Sipin Sub-district Office, Jambi City. The magnitude of the influence of discipline on employee performance is 0.999, meaning that if job satisfaction increases by 1%, performance increases by 0.999%. For the Danau Sipin Sub-district Office, Jambi City, the writer can provide advice, namely increasing the ability to work in order to get opportunities for the salary that has been set.
