Abstract
ABSTARCT Basok Mangkona / 1600861201121/2023 / The Effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT. Maju Global Motor Jambi Province / Mr. Dr. Saiyidi Syekh, M.Si. as Advisor 1 and Mr. Rasdi, M.M. as Advisor 2. In a company, employee work discipline is needed so that the level of efficiency and employee performance can increase so that the company or organization can achieve its goals in accordance with the vision and mission. Employees are a very valuable company asset that must be managed properly by the company in order to make an optimal contribution. The purpose of this study is to to describe work discipline and employee performance at PT. Maju Global Motor Jambi Province. In addition, this study was also conducted to partially analyze the effect of work discipline on employee performance at PT. Maju Global Motor Jambi Province. The research method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative methods. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection was done by observation and questionnaires. Sampling was carried out using the census method so that 39 respondents were obtained. Data analysis using descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that Work discipline based on the average overall score is included in the very good category with an overall average of 162,3. Then regarding the performance of employees at PT. Maju Global Motor Jambi Province according to respondents the average overall score is included in the very high category with an overall average of 167,2. Work discipline affects employee performance by 53,7% and the remaining 46,3% is influenced by other variables not included in the study. The results obtained show a significance value of less than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05 and tcount > ttable, namely 6,55 > 1,68488 so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between work discipline on the performance of employees of PT.
