Abstract

ABSTRACT Maria Ulfa /1900861201079/ Faculty of Economics, University of Batanghari Jambi / The Effect Of Good Corporate Governance On Return On Assets In State-Owned Companies Listed On The Indonesia Stock Exchange /Advisor 1st R. Adisetiawan, SE, MM/ Advisor 2nd Fadil Iskandar, SE, MM. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of Good Corporate Governance which is assessed by Managerial Ownership, Independent Board of Commissioners, and Audit Committee simultaneously and partially on Return on Assets in state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2021 period. The analysis method used is a quantitative data analysis method, which is an analysis used to test the relationship or influence of the independent variable and the dependent variable. The analytical tools in this study are Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination (R2). The conclusion is, Based on the results of simultaneous tests, this study reveals that Managerial Ownership, Independent Board of Commissioners, and Audit Committee have a significant effect on Return on Assets in state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2021 period. This is evidenced by a sig value of 0.016 which means a sig value <0.05, as well as an R Square value of 0.324 or 32.4%. Based on the partial test it is known that Managerial Ownership and Independent Board of Commissioners have no effect on Return on Assets in BUMN companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2021 period, while the Audit Committee has an effect on Return on Assets in state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2021 period.
