Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to empirically examine the effect of the Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Stock Prices in the Food and Food Industry Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2021 period . This study uses secondary data with a population of Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015 – 2021. Using the purposive sampling method, a sample of 6 Food and Beverage companies was obtained. This study uses 3 financial ratios as financial performance measurement tools, namely Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO). The analytical method used is the multiple regression equation model. Before testing the hypothesis, the data normality test and the classical assumption test are first performed. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the F-test which tested the effect of the independent variables, namely Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) simultaneously on the dependent variable, namely stock prices, and the t-test which tested the effect partially to the share price. From the results of the regression analysis, an F value of 1.985 is obtained, which means that simultaneously the company's financial performance does not affect stock prices. The t-test shows that only the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has an effect on stock prices, while the Current Ratio (CR) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) have no effect on stock prices partially. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.149 which indicates that only 14.9% of the share price can be Explained by Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Total Asset Turnover (TATO).
