Abstract
ABSTRACT Employees are an important aspect for the company in running its business. Employees and companies are two things that cannot be separated, employees play a major role in achieving company goals, if employees have high productivity and motivation then the company will run well. To produce good performance in a company in order to get quality employees, it cannot be obtained directly/instantly, but training or employee development is needed to create good performance. This study aims to determine the description of job training and employee performance at PT Wirakarya Sakti District VIII. This study also aims to determine the effect of job training on employee performance at PT Wirakarya Sakti District VIII. The research method used is a quantitative method with simple regression analysis. PT. Wirakarya Sakti is a subsidiary of the Sinar Mas Group which is engaged in the procurement of paper raw materials or Monoculture HTI with the main crops being Acacia and Eucalyptus. PT. Wirakarya Sakti whose address is in Tungkal Ulu District, West Tanjung Jabung Regency. The results of the study show that job training is based on an average overall score of 143.8 and is included in the effective category. The employee performance variable has an average score of 149. Based on the results of the t test, there is an effect of the job training variable on employee performance at PT Wirakarya Sakti District VIII with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Based on the results of the research above, it is hoped that the company will further improve training, especially the facilities obtained by the training participants to make participants comfortable while participating in the training, because based on this research is the lowest score for employee training in the office. It is expected that employees will show more concern and help each other among employees, because based on this research this is the lowest employee performance score.
