Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to analyze the Effect of Working Capital Efficiency on Profitability simultaneously and partially on Return On Equity in the Food and Beverage Industry Sub-Sector for the 2017-2021 Period. The population used in this study is companies of the Food and Beverage Industry Sub-Sector during the 2017-2021 period. The samples used in this study were 21 companies from the Food and Beverage Industry Sub-Sector during the 2017-2021 period. The research method used is Quantitative Research Method. The analytical tools used in this study are Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Equation and Hypothesis Test. Based on the results of the study that simultaneous Cash Turnover, Receivables Turnover, Inventory Turnover and Payable Turnover have a significant effect on Return On Equity. Based on the partial test, Cash Turnover has no significant effect on Return On Equity. Receivables turnover has no significant effect on Return On Equity. Inventory Turnover has a significant effect Return On Equity. Payable Turnover has a significant effects Return On Equity. Based on the results of R Square which shows the contribution of the independent variable can affect the dependent variable, while the remaining is influenced by other variables outside this study.
