Abstract

This research aims to describe the existing problem formulation designed to look for the influence of Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Equity and Earnings per Share on share prices simultaneously and partially. The data type used in this research is quantitative secondary data regarding financial reports. In this research the author took the title Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Retrun on Equity (ROE), and Earning per Share (EPS) to the share price at Chemical Sub Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022. The aim is to find out how much influence DER, ROE and EPS have on Chemical Sub-Sector Companies Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period. The object of this research is the Chemical Sub Sector Company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period, namely 9 companies namely PT. Aneka Gas Industri Tbk (AGII), PT. Barito PasficTbk (BRPT), PT. Budi Starch & Sweetener Tbk (BUDI), PT. Duta Pertiwi Nusantara Tbk (DPNS), PT. Ekadharma Internasional Tbk (EKAD), PT. Intan Wijaya Internasional Tbk (INCI), PT. Emdeki Utama Tbk (MDKI), PT. Indo Acitama Tbk (SRSN) and PT. Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk (UNIC). Sample selection was carried out using purposive sampling, namely samples were selected based on certain criteria, with the aim of obtaining a sample that represents the research carried out. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. The company's financial report data collection technique is a data analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis with the F hypothesis test and T test. Based on the research results, the variables DER, ROE and EPS simultaneously influences share prices with a coefficient of determination of 0.602 meaning that DER, ROE and EPS can influence share prices by 60.2%. Meanwhile, partially the DER and EPS variables have a positive and significant effect on share prices. Meanwhile, ROE has a negative and significant influence on the share price variable in Chemical Sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2022 period.
