Abstract

Work professionalism plays a very important role in employee performance. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to describe the work professionalism and the employee performance, and to find out and analyze the effect of work professionalism on employee performance at the Jambi Province plantation office. Research methods in this study is descriptive and quantitative method. The distribution of questionnaires with a then the sample in this study amounted to 95 people respondent. Data analyze use SPSS Ver 23 and using models simple linier regression with result of count Y = a+b.X+e. Data analyze use SPSS Ver 22 and using models simple linier regression with result of count Y = 0,909+0,608X+e. The test of determination with R2 of 38,7%. T test by comparison tcount 4,056> ttable 1,68488 then Ho accepted Hi be. Rejected.To analyze the effect of work professionalism on employee performance at the Jambi Province plantation office. Work professionalism regression coefficient (X) is 0,909, meaning that work professionalism (X) has increased by 1%, so on employee performance (Y) at the Jambi Province plantation office. The coefficient of determination is known from the value of R2=0,307 (38,7%) which means that work professionalism (X) is able to explain on the performance employees (Y) at the Jambi Province plantation office that is equal to 38,7% and the remaining 61,3% is influenced by other variables. Not investigated in this study. Based on t-test, t-count value is 4,056 and the t-table is 1,68488. From the comparison results, it can be seen that the test by comparison tcount 4,056> ttable 1,68488 then Ho accepted Hi be. Rejected. Meaning that work professionalism on employee performance at the Jambi Province plantation office. Keyword : Work Professionalism and Employee Performance
