Abstract

ABSTRACT (SILVIA WULANDARI / 1600861201063 / 2020 / THE EFFECT OF DISCIPLINE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT. MORO DADI AGUNG JAMBI / FIRST SUPERVISOR NURAINI, S.E.,M.M / SECOND SUPERVISOR SAID ALMAUDUDI, S.E.,M.M) Discipline plays a crucial role in employee performance and also has major benefits for workers and the company. The purpose of this study is therefore to define the discipline, efficiency and the impact of discipline on employee performance at PT. Moro Dadi Agung Jambi. In this study, the research method is a descriptive quantitative method. Analysis of data via SPSS ver 22. With a simple linear regression analysis model for measurement results of Y= 1.120+ 0.639X, determination test with r2 value of 0.316 or 31.6 percent, ttest with a comparison of 5.651 > ttable 1.99656 then H0 is rejected H1 got. Analyzing the impact of discipline on the performance of employees at PT. Moro Dadi Agung Jambi carried out the distribution of questionnaires with a population of 68 people for whom the entire population was the respondent. The discipline regression coefficient (X) of 0.639 means that if discipline (X) is increased by 1%, the employee's performance at PT. Moro Dadi Agung Jambi is increased by 6.39 percent. From the determination of the test results obtained r2 value of 0.316, this figure shows that the discipline variable (X) is capable of explaining the performance variable (Y) of 31.6 percent, while the rest is explained by other variables not examined in writing. Discipline in the PT. Moro Dadi Agung Jambi is high with an average score of 261.7 percent and the employee performance is also high with an average score of 265.1 percent, which means that there is a significant influence between discipline and employee performance at PT. Moro Dadi Agung Jambi with tcount 5.651 > ttable 1.99656 which means that H0 is rejected H1 is accepted.
