Abstract

Work supervision has a very important role in employee performance. Therefore, the aim of this research is to describe work supervision on employee performance and to analyze the influence of work supervision on the performance of employees at Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mayang, Jambi City. The research method in this research is descriptive and quantitative. Distributing questionnaires to a population of 323 people in 2022, the formula used to find samples was the Slovin formula according to Sugiyono (2017:81) so that the sample in this study was 77 respondents. Data analysis uses SPSS Ver 26 and uses a simple linear regression model with Y = a+bX+e. To analyze the effect of Work Supervision on employee performance at Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mayang, Jambi City. Data analysis used SPSS Ver 26 and used a simple linear regression model with Y = 28.659 + 0.979X. The regression coefficient for work supervision (X) is 0.979, meaning that work supervision (X) has increased by 1 so that employee performance (Y) at Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mayang, Jambi City has increased by 0.979. The coefficient of determination is known from the value R2 = 0.409 (40.9%), which means that work supervision (X) is able to explain employee performance (Y) at Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mayang, Jambi City by 40.9% and the remaining 59.1%. influenced by other variables. Not investigated in this study. Based on the t test, the calculated t value is 7.204 and t table is 1.992. From the comparison results, it can be seen that the test with a comparison of t count 7.204 > t table 1.992 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that work supervision has a significant effect on employee performance at Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mayang, Jambi City. Keywords: Work Supervision, Employee Performance
