Samudera Bersaudara Cabang Jambi / Advisor 1st Hj. Reni Devita, SE, MM /2nd Advisor Anisah, SE, MM. The purpose of this research is to know and describe the level of education and performance of employees at PT. Samudera Bersaudara Cabang Jambi and to know and analyze the influence of education level on the performance of employees at PT. Samudera Bersaudara Cabang Jambi. In discussing this issue authors use quantitative descriptive method that is by looking for information about the symptoms, clearly defined objectives to be achieved, plan the way of approach, collecting data as Materials to create a report. In this research the author held comparisons between education and motivation to the performance of employees in PT. Samudera Bersaudara Cabang Jambi. PT. Samudera Bersaudara Cabang Jambi in the year 2001 which is located on Jl. Kapten Patimura No. 48 C. is a company engaged in automotive transport public transportation especially the Suzuki motorcycle sales. This company is the largest distributor of Suzuki Motors in Indonesia, including in Jambi and surrounding areas, PT. Samudera Bersaudara Cabang Jambi only serve the purchase of a motorcycle but serving service and Suzuki motor part. In the company's business activities and motorcycle sales, the company uses the services of DPS (distributor sales person) or better known as sales From the above regression equations can be known a constant value of 14,066 gives the meaning that if the education level variable (X) is 0, then the performance variable (Y) is worth 14,066. Furthermore, with the simple linear regression equation above, there is a positive value for variable regression coefficient of education level of 0428. If the coefficient value of the education level is positive in case changes to the education level variable will cause a directional change in the performance variable. In this study, can be analyzed the magnitude of influence of education level of performance of 0428. This means that when the level of education in PT. Samudera Bersaudara Cabang Jambi increased by 1%, employees ' performance will increase by 42.8%. Based on the discussions in the previous chapters, it can be withdrawn some conclusions that the average score of 136.6 answers means that the level of education is highly valued by employees. The average answer score of 138.6 means the performance of employees at PT. Samudera Bersaudara Cabang Jambi High and the level of education is influential in the performance of employees at PT. Samudera Bersaudara Cabang Jambi. The level of education is capable of explaining the education level variables by 36.3% and the remaining 63.7% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
