Abstract

ABSTRACT ( NOVITA SARI / 1600861201067 / 2020 / THE EFFECT OF COMPENSATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE ON PT.MATAHARI DEPARTMEN STORE ANGSO DUO JAMBI / SUPERVISOR I Dr. JONER SIMARMATA M.M. / SUPERVISOR II UBAIDILLAH S.E., M.M. ) Compensation plays a very important role in the implementation of employee performance, also has great benefits for employees. Therefore the purpose of this research is to describe the compensation and performance of employees, and to find out and analyze the effect of compensation on employee performance in PT. Matahari Departmen Store Angso Duo Jambi. Research methods in this study is descriptive and quantitative method. Data analayze use SPSS ver 22 and using models simple linier regression with result of count Y = 20.032 + 0,166 + e. the test of determination with R2 of 3,7. T test by comparison tcount 1.120 > ttable 2.0345 then H0 accepted H1 be. Rejected. To analyze the effect of compensation on employee performance on PT.Mataharari Department Store Angso Duo Jambi the distribution of questionnaires with a population of 35 people in which the entire population was made respondent. Coefficient regression coefficient (X) of 0.166 means that if compensation (X) has increased by 1%, then the performance of employees at PT.Matahari Department Store Angso Duo Jambi will increase by 1.66%, from the determination test results obtained an R2 of 0.037 This figure states that the compensation variable (X) is able to explain the performance variable (Y) of 1.66%, while the rest is explained by other variables not examined in writing this thesis. Compensation at PT. Matahari Department Store Angso Duo Jambi is high with an average score of 132% and employee performance is also very high with an average score of 148.4%. In the sense that there is a significant influence between compensation on employee performance at PT. Matahari Department Store Angso Duo Jambi with tcount1,120>ttable 2.0345 then H0 is accepted Ha is rejected.
