Abstract

This research aims to know the analyis of bank health level using RGEC method in the state-owned commercial bank of Indonesia listed in Indonesia stock exchange period 2014-2018. The average NPL data for the period was 2.59%. The average LDR for the period was 91.98%. The average GCG for the period was 1.72%. The average ROA is 2.83%, the average NIM is 6.12 and the average CAR is 19.31%. This research was taken because there was no conclusion in the latest years research from previous study. The data used in this research is quantitative data sourced from secondary data. The data used in this reasearch obtained from the financial statement of state-owned commercial banks in the 2014-2018 period using the RGEC analysis method. The indicators used are Non Performing Loans, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Good Corporate Governance, Return On Assets, Net Interest Margin, Capital Adequacy Ratio as an independent variable and the Bank's Health Level as the dependent variable. The population of this study is the banking companies with the category of state-owned commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018, amounting to 4 companies. In this study the entire population was selected as a research sample. Researchers use census methods in data collection. Based on the results of the study using a component ranking criteria matrix, known values are in the healthy category, LDR is in the fairly healthy category, GCG is in the healthy category, ROA is in the very healthy category, NIM is in the very healthy category, CAR is in the very healthy category . Based on overall research, the analysis shows that the health of state-owned commercial banks in the 2014-2018 using RGEC method in Composite Rating 1 (PK-1) or very healthy category. This means that during this period banks were considered to be able to face the negative impacts of changing business conditions and other external factors. Even though there are weaknesses, in general these weaknesses are not significant.
