The purpose of this research is to understand and describe the motivation and performance of employees at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Jambi and to know and analyze the effect of motivation on performance in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Jambi. The research methods used in this study are quantitative research. Quantitative research methods can be interpreted as a research method based on positivism philosophy, used to examine on certain populations or samples, data collection using research instruments, quantitative/statistical data analysis with the aim of testing a predetermined hypothesis. BPJS Previous employment named Jamsostek (Social Security Labor) managed by PT. Jamsostek (Persero), but according to LAW No. 24 year 2011 about BPJS PT. Jamsostek changed to BPJS employment since January 1, 2014. BPJS Employment is a Social Security program responsible for the state to provide social economic protection to the community. According to state financial capability conditions. From the above regression equations can be known constants value of 5.027. This proves if the motivation variable (X) is worth 0, then the performance variable (Y) is 5.027. Furthermore, with the simple linear regression equation above, there is a positive value of motivation variable regression coefficient of 0.970. If the value of the motivation coefficient is positive if changes to the motivation variable occur, it will cause a directional change in the performance variable. In this study, it can analyze the magnitude of performance motivation to 0.970. means if the motivation of BPJS employment Jambi increase by 1% then the performance of employees in BPJS employment Jambi will increase by 97%. The motivation to BPJS employment Jambi was on a high criterion with a score of 153.7 with the highest indicators relating to loyalty with a score of 158.6. and employee performance at BPJS Employment Jambi are on high criteria with a score of 153.9 with the highest indicator related to punctuality with a score of 161. The motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance that is seen from the calculated T value of greater than T table 10,756 > 2.022, motivation can affect performance by 74.9% while the rest is influenced by other variables outside This research.
