Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the main problems experienced by Indonesians today is in the field of law, where the crime rate increases in big cities and spreads to remote villages. Of course, humans need to work on how to reduce crime by paying attention to aspects of the perpetrator and not only the victim, so a method or method is needed to overcome this, for the author himself, one way is to uphold restorative justice. Today we will discuss the application of restorative justice to the crime of embezzlement. Here we will discuss 3 things related to restorative justice and embezzlement, namely what are the factors that cause embezzlement? What are the efforts to implement restorative justice in law enforcement against criminal acts of embezzlement? The research method used is empirical juridical where the researcher makes in-depth observations and uses literature and field experience as data sources. The purpose of the researcher is to find out what factors are the perpetrators of embezzlement, efforts to apply restoative justice and how the results of its application are discussed in the title of the thesis. This type of research is a social approach.
