Abstract

ABSTRACT BOIKE INDRA LESMANA / 1700861201152 / FACULTY OF UNIVERSITY ECONOMIC BATANGHARI JAMBI/ MANAGEMENT / EFFECT OF JOB SATISFACTION ON WORK DISCIPLINE OF PERUMDA AIR TIRTA MAYANG JAMBI CITY / 1 st ADVISOR DRS. JONNER SIMARMATA, MM / 2 nd ADVISOR SAID ALMAUDUDI, SE.MM. The aims ofthis study were to determine: (1) description of job satisfaction and work discipline of PERUMDA Air Tirta Mayang employees in Jambi City; and (2) the effect of job satisfaction on the work discipline of PERUMDA Air Tirta Mayang employees in Jambi City. The research method used in this researchis descriptive quantitative, with data collection techniques through literature studies, questionnaires, interviews,. Where the population in this study were 318 people with a sample of 77 people. The data processing technique in this study uses simple linear regression, the coefficient of determination. Hypothesis Test (Test). Based on the research results, it is known that: (1) job satisfaction categorization shows that the average employee of PERUMDA Tirta Mayang Jambi City has a satisfied level of job satisfaction. And the categorization of work discipline shows that the average employee of PERUMDA Air Titra Mayang Jambi City has a high level of work discipline, and (2) job satisfaction affects the work discipline of PERUMDA Air Tirta Mayang employees in Jambi City. Suggestions from this study are: (1) further researchers are expected to be able to examine other factors that can improve work discipline in addition to job satisfaction such as work motivation, organizational climate, organizational culture and others, and (2) the results obtained show that the average employee of PERUMDA Tirta Mayang Jambi City has a high level of job satisfaction and work discipline. Therefore, it is expected that PERUMDA Air Tirta Mayang Jambi City pay more attention to and maintain behavioral indicators of job satisfaction and work disciplineon PERUMDA Tirta Mayang employees of Jambi City vi
