Abstract

Civil servants as the center of human resources of the state government have important role in determining the success of government and development. With good training will generate willingness for employees to work better, if an employee has the ability but no willingness in work, then the work will not be maximized. The samples using in this research are the civil servants ofRegional Tax and Retribution Management Agency of Jambi Cit y as much as 67 respondents. This research used simple linear regression analysis. The data are processed using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS 24) software in order to answer the problems in this research.The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method by using statistical formula to help analyze data obtained from the field. Jambi City Tax and Retribution Management Agency is one of the Regional Apparatus Organizations in Jambi City having its address at JalanJend. BasukiRachmatKel. Paal Lima Kec.Kotabaru, Jambi City. This OPD aims to be professional in managing local taxes and retributions as the main source of income for the development of the Jambi Cit y. The result of the research shows that the regression test have positive direction toward employee performance with significant level is proved t count 4,458>t 1,99714, in other words have close enough relationship with performance. For the correlation calculation of 0.525, this indicates a positive relationship between training and performance. Furthermore, the determinant coefficient obtained by 23,4%, the rest of 76,6% influenced by other factors outside this research. table This research is expected to help the leader of Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency of Jambi City to understand better about the condition of training and employee performance of the institution. With better understanding, it is expected that the management level of this organization could create better and more coordinated policy in oder to increase the institution performance as a whole in the future.
