Abstract

ABSTRACT 6 Saferdi / 1700861201135 / 2021 / Batanghari University / Faculty of Economics / Human Resource Management / The Effect of Discipline On The Performance Of The Land Transportatian Management Center Office Region V Jambi Province / First Advisor Dr. H. Saiyid Syekh, M.S.i and The Second Advisor Azizah, SE, MM. As for the title of this thesis, it is the effect of discipline on employee performance at the land transportation management office in Jambi Province. As for the objectives of this study, 1.To find out and describe the discipline and performance of employees at the Land Transportation Management Center Office Region V Jambi Province.2.To analyze the effect of discipline on employee performance at the Office of the Land Transportation Management Center Region V Jambi Province. This Study includes a descriptive study to test the hyphotesisis, sample this study where land transportation management center for region v Jambi province of the 33 people, with population cencus method as repondents in answering the statement. The technique of collecting data using statements. Data analysis tecnique used was SPSS with simple regresi analysis and tes t. The land transportation management center for region v Jambi province is an office of a government agency engaged in land transportation between regions, this office was formed in2016, the number of employees in the office is 59, this office is located at KenaliBesar, Kec. New Town, Jambi City. The results of SPSS obtained the equation Y = 0.727 + 0.979 X. From this equation it can be said that the discipline variable can be used as a tool to predict employee performance at the land transportation management office in Jambi province. The effect of discipline on employee performance at the office of the land transportation management office in Jambi Province is 0.979%. The relationship between discipline variables on employee performance at the land transportation management office in Jambi Province has an effect of 56.1% while 43.1%. Based on the recap of the answer scores for the discipline indicator questionnaire at the Regional V Land Transportation Management Center office, Jambi Province is in the high category with a score of 143.6 with a scale range of 129.2 – 159.5. the recap of the answer scores for the performance indicator questionnaire at the Regional V Land Transportation Management Office of Jambi Province is in the high category with a score of 142.8 from a scale range of 129.2 – 159.5.
