Abstract
Human resource management is maximizing organizational productivity through optimizing employee effectiveness and simultaneously improving the quality of employee work life and treating employees as highly valuable resources for the organization. Employee performance really needs to be paid attention to because it is one of the keys to success. This research basically aims to see the influence of discipline on employee performance partially. This disciplinary problem continued to be studied until this research was written to measure employee performance levels. To answer the research objectives, the author used research studies related to the research variables, namely discipline and employee performance. This research used 62 respondents with analysis techniques using simple linear regression and hypothesis testing using the t test. The type of data used in this research is quantitative descriptive, namely to determine the influence of motivation on work productivity. Regression aims to test the relationship between one variable and other variables. The variable that influences is called the dependent variable, while the variable that influences is called the independent variable. The vehicle for this research is the Kuala Tungkal District Health office, which is useful as a means of providing data and information to support health management. The Health Profile of West Tanjung Jabung Regency can also be used as a means of coaching and monitoring the implementation of Health efforts in the District. From the results of the data processing carried out, the regression equation Y= 16,816 + 0,588. X + e sobtained. Meanwhile, from the hypothesis testing carried out, the results showed that discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Research result. Apart from that, the research results prove that discipline has an effect on employee performance, where the t value is 3.922 > the t table value is 2,000. discipline is able to explain performance by 20.0% while the remaining 80.0% is explained by other variables outside the research model.
