Abstract

A factor that cannot be underestimated is good and correct spelling. Misspelling a word will change the meaning of the word and will change the intended meaning. Especially in English. As in the example of the word 'quite' which means really and the word 'quiet' which means quiet. The misplacement of the letter 'e' in the word will change the meaning of the word. This research uses descriptive quantitative conducted in class XII IPA 3 with a total of 27 students. A total of 19 female students and 8 male students. With an average score of 70 then the minimum score is 50 and the maximum score is 90.
