The purpose of this study was to analyze the disclosure of the planned murder crime at the Tanjung Jabung Timur Police, to analyze the inhibiting factors of the planned murder crime at the level of investigation at the Tanjung Jabung Timur Police, to analyze the efforts to overcome obstacles in uncovering the Crime of Planned Murder at the Investigation Level at the Polres. East Tanjung Jabung. In the writing of this thesis, the author uses the juridical empirical research type, while the approach used is socio-legal research.When the fire incident killed the Mendahara Hilir Polsek, the Tanjung Jabung Timur Police did not fully believe that it was a tragedy or pure negligence, so the Mendahara Hilir Polsek, Tanjung Jabung Timur Police felt an irregularity. departing from this irregularity in the Investigation Level it is known that it is a premeditated murder case disguised as a fire incident.The police encountered inhibiting factors, among others (1) the suspect was not cooperative in providing a statement to admit his actions, (2) In carrying out the murder, the investigator assessed that the suspect did not take the action alone, meaning that there were other suspects who helped the murder but the suspect did not admit it, (3) ) The suspect's family who did not want to provide information.Efforts were made to overcome the 3 (three) obstacle points in Uncovering the Crime of Planned Murder at the Investigation Level at the Tanjung Jabung Timur Police, among others (1) looking for evidence and clues, (2) the investigator carried out the reconstruction of the incident in order to develop and adjust between statement of the suspect, (3) Towards the family and relatives of the suspect, the police continue to seek information by conducting humanist dialogue, namely communicating gently and politely. The suggestion put forward is that the suspect should receive a death sentence for the act he committed, considering that the suspect himself did not admit to his act, was not creative in giving information and that killing his own wife and children was heinous.
