Abstract

Kata Kunci : Tindak Pidana Pencurian Kejahatan merupakan suatu permasalahan yang terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat yang disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor tertentu misalnya kesenjangan ekonomi. Salahsatu kejahatan yang sering terjadi ditengah-tengah masyarakat adalah kejahatan pencurian. Pencurian juga merupakan perbuatan jahat yang masih menimbulkan keresahan terhadap masyarakat. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini yaitu bagaimanakah tindak pidana pencurian emas yang terjadi ditoko sinar gemilang, apakah faktor penyebab terjadinya tindak pidana pencurian ditoko emas sinar gemilang jambi, dan bagaimanakah upaya yang dilakukan oleh pihak polresta jambi dalam menanggulangi tindak pidana pencurian yang terjadi ditoko emas sinar gemilang. Pendekatan dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis empiris yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan secara langsung berdasarkan fakta yang didapat dilapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu pencurian yang terjadi ditoko emas sinar gemilang merupakan kejahatan yang dikaitkan dengan pencurian dengan kekerasan. Faktor terjadinya pencurian tersebut yaitu faktor ekonomi, niat dan kesempatan, tingkat pendidikan rendah, pengangguran dan faktor tidak memiliki penghasilan yang cukup. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh polresta jambi dalam menanggulangi tindak pidana pencurian ditoko emas sinar gemilang yaitu represif dan preventif. Simpulan skripsi yaitu sesuai hasil penelitian penulis di polresta jambi ternyata kasus ini tetap dilanjutkan ke ranah pengadilan karena kasus ini merupakan kejahatan yang terorganisasi yang dijalankan lebih dari satu orang yang mempunyai tugas dan spesifikasi masing-masing. Saran dari penelitian ini yaitu diharapkan dalam mengkaji tindak pidana ditoko lainnya dalam ruang lingkup perbelanjaan harus diberikan tindakan tegas sehingga pelaku mikir dua kali sebelum melakukan aksinya. Kemudian diharapkan para penegak hukum dan lembaga tertentu bekerjasama memberikan penyuluhan dan memberikan pengertian terhadap dampak yang ditimbulkan dalam melakukan tindak pidana. vii ABSTRACT Gulo, Hendrianto Putra Sehati Gulo, 2021. One the crimes that often occurs in society in the crime of theft. The formulation of the research problem is how the crime of gold theft that occurred at the sinar gemilang shop, what were the factors causing the crime of theft at the sinar gemilang jambi gold shop, and how were the efforts made by the jambi police in tackling the crime of theft that occurred at the sinar gemilang gold shop. The approach and method used in this research is empirical juridical, nemaly research is carried out directly based on facts obtained in the field. The results of this study is that the theft that occurred at the sinar gemilang gold shop is a crime that is associated with violent theft. The factors for the theft are economic factors, intentions and opportunities, low educations levels, unemployment and factors not having sufficient income. The efforts carried out by the jambi police in tackling the crime of theft at the sinar gemilang gold shop are repressive and preventive. The consclusion of the thesis is that according to the results of the author’s research at the jambi regional police, in turns out that this case is still being continued in the realm of the court because this case is an organized crime carried out by more than one person who was their respective duties and specifications. Suggestions from this research are that it is hoped that in reviewing criminal acts in other stores within the scope of shopping, firm action should be given so that the perpetrators think twice before taking their actions. Then it is hoped that law enforcers and certain institutions will work together to provide counseling and provide an understanding of the impacts cuased by committing criminal acts.
