Abstract
ABSTRACT Nada Liesandani / 1700861201373 / 2021 / The Influence of Communication on Employee Performance at Jambi Province Departement of Culture and Tourism / Hj. Reni Devita, S.E., M.M., as advisor and Gupron S.Kom., M.Kom., as advisor. Communication is a necessity in our day life. As a worker from an agency, organization, or company, of course you need to carry out communication activities to help carry out a job in order to achieve the goals that have been set. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence communication has on performance at the Jambi Province Departement of Culture and Tourism. This study uses descriptive and verification analysis using simple linear analysis. The technique of simple linear regression analysis is to see the effect of communication on the performance of the Jambi Province Departement of Culture and Tourism and continued by using the correlation determination and the hypothesis with the t test. Data collection technique using quessionnaire. The Jambi Province Departemen of Culture and Tourism’s address in Kotabaru, Jambi. Employee communication at the Jambi Province Departement of Culture and Tourism is very good and Jambi Province Departement of Culture and Tourism performance is very good. From the result of the simple linear regression equation test, there is an effect communication on performance, which is 94.6% meaning that communication has a positive effect on performance at the Jambi Province Departement of Culture and Tourism. And with increased communication, employee performance will increase. Communication has gone well, but it is necessary to make a suggestion box for superiors so that employees can submit complaints more freely without revealing identities. Superiors should provide more motivation for punctual attendance so that performance can be further improved.
