Abstract

ABSTRACT Muhammad Arsadi / 1500861201447 / 2020 /EFFECT OF EARNING PER SHARE, PRICE EARNING RATIO AND RETURN ON EQUITY ON SHARE PRICES IN THE CEMENT INDUSTRY REGISTERED ON THE INDONESIAN STOCK EXCHANGE (IDX) FOR THE PERIOD 2014 – 2019/ Dr. Pantun Bukit, S.E., M.Si., as 1 st advisor and Mufidah, S.E., M.Si., as 2 nd advisor. The purpose of this study is as follows: 1.) To determine and analyze the effect of Earning Per Share, Price Earning Ratio and Return On Equity simultaneously on stock prices in the Cement Industry Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2014 - 2019 Period. 2.) To determine and analyze the effect of Partial Earning Per Share, Price Earning Ratio and Return On Equity on share prices in the Cement Industry Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2014 - 2019 Period. In this study the authors used the type of quantitative descriptive analysis method. Quantitative descriptive is a type of research that aims to describe or describe numbers that have been processed according to certain standards. Quantitative descriptive data in the form of Cement Industry financial reports. Sources of data used in this study are secondary data. Secondary data is a data source that has been processed by certain parties and is obtained by researchers indirectly through the media. Based on the result of the regression analysis abowed that the regression equation Y it = 3,394 E-16 + 0,973 - 0,008 – 0,278 + e it. That the value of R Square is 0.723, which means that the amount of the contribution of the independent variables, namely Earning Per Share, Price Earning Ratio and Return On Equity affects the Share Price variable by 72.3%, while the rest 27,7% influenced by other variables outside this research Earning Per Share, Price Earning Ratio and Return On Equity together (simultaneously) have a significant positive effect on Share Prices in Cement Industry Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014 - 2019 Period. Earning Per Share and Return On Equity has a partially significant effect on Share Prices in Cement Industry Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014 - 2019 Period. While Price Earning Ratio have no partial significant effect on share prices in cement industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2014 - 2019 period.
