Abstract

ABSTRACT v (ANDI INAS MAFAZA / 1800861201365 / 2022 / THE INFLUENCE OF WORK ENVIRONMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE ON PDAM TIRTA MAYANG JAMBI CITY / SUPERVISOR I Hj. RENI DEVITA, SE, M.Si. / SUPERVISOR II UBAIDILLAH, SE, MM.) Work environment plays a very important role in employee performance. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to describe the work environment and employee performance, and to find out and analyze the effect of work environtment on employee performance in PDAM Tirta Mayang Kota Jambi. Research methods in this study is descriptive and quantitative method. Data analyze use SPSS Ver 22 and using models simple linier regression with result of count Y = 1,866+0,545X+e. The test of determination with R of 39,8%. T test by comparison t count 3,409> t 0,3440 then Ho accepted Hi be. Rejected.To analyze the effect of work environmenton employee performance on PDAM Tirta MayangKota Jambi. The distribution of questionnaires with a then the sample in this study amounted to 31 people respondent.Work environment regression coefficient (X) is 0,545, meaning that work environment(X) has increased by 1%, so employee performance (Y) PDAM Tirta Mayang Kota Jambi. The coefficient of determination is known from the value of R table 2 =0,398 (39,8%) which means that work environment (X) is able to explain employee performance (Y) at the PDAM Tirta Mayang Kota Jambi that is equal to 39,8% and the remaining 60,2% is influenced by other variables. Not investigated in this study. Based on t-test, t-count value is 3,409 and the t-table is 0,3440. From the comparison results, it can be seen that the test by comparison t count 0,3440 then Ho accepted Hi be. Rejected. Meaning that work environment affect employee performance at PDAM Tirta MayangKota Jambi. Keyword : Work Environment and Employee Performance
