Abstract

ABSTRACT (M. DONNY KURNIAWAN / 1800861201281 / 2022 / THE EFFECT OF WORK ENVIRONMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE ON PDAM TIRTA MAYANG KOTA JAMBI / SUPERVISOR I Dr. H. SAIYID SYEKH, M.Si. / SUPERVISOR II Dr. AHMAD FIRDAUS, SE, MM.) Work environment plays a very important role in employee performance. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to describe the work environment and employee performance, and to find out and analyze the effect of work environtment on employee performance in PDAM Tirta Mayang Kota Jambi. Research methods in this study is descriptive and quantitative method. Data analyze use SPSS Ver 22 and using models simple linier regression with result of count Y = 0,936+0,579X+e. The test of determination with R 2 of 33,1%. T test by comparison t count 6,051 > t 1,66571 then Ho accepted Hi be. Rejected. To analyze the effect of work environment on employee performance on PDAM Tirta Mayang Kota Jambi. The distribution of questionnaires with a then the sample in this study amounted to 76 people respondent. Work environment regression coefficient (X) is 0,579, meaning that work environment (X) has increased by 1%, so employee performance (Y) PDAM Tirta Mayang Kota Jambi. The coefficient of determination is known from the value of R 2 =0,331 (33,1%) which means that work environment (X) is able to explain employee performance (Y) at the PDAM Tirta Mayang Kota Jambi that is equal to 33,1% and the remaining 66,9% is influenced by other variables. Not investigated in this study. Based on ttest, t-count value is 6,051 and the t-table is 1,66571. From the comparison results, it can be seen that the test by comparison t count 6,051 > t 1,66571 then Ho accepted Hi be. Rejected. Meaning that work environment affect employee performance at PDAM Tirta Mayang Kota Jambi. Keyword : Work Environment and Employee Performance
