Abstract

Work compensation has an effect on the quality of the performance of the Land Office. in the last five years it can be concluded that the number of employees of the Land Office is still fluctuating every year for performance is still lacking. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between compensation and performance. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method. The type of data used for this research is primary data. Data collection methods with field research such as questionnaires, observation methods, interviews and library research. The research sample was 31 employees at the land office of Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of BPN No. 17 of 2020 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of the BPN Regional Office and the Land Office Based on the results of the study, the linear regression value that is Y = 0.951+0.482X+e, with a R value and a R² value of 0.351 on the test t work. Compensation has an effect on employee performance at the Tanjung Jabung Timur Land Office with a value of 3.958 and a significance value of 0.000. The suggestions from the results of this study are expected to be useful for the Land Office of Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency to pay attention to the existing Compensation of the Land Office of Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency which is related to Facilities. It is advisable as an Employee of the Land Office of Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency to continue to pay attention to performance related to punctuality.
