Abstract
ABSTRACT (NURISKI ANDRIANA / 1800861201012 / THE EFFECT OF FINANCIAL LITERATURE AND LIFESTYLE ON FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT IN MANAGEMENT STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS, BATANGHARI UNIVERSITY. SUPERVISOR I DR. PANTUN BUKIT, S, E, M.Si; SUPERVISOR II HANA TAMARA PUTRI, S, E, M.M). This study intends to determine the effect of financial literacy and lifestyle on financial management in Management Study Program students, Faculty of Economics, Batanghari University. The research method used is random sampling. The sample in this study is 30% of the population, the data collection technique used is using a questionnaire. To analyze the information needed, namely testing the hypothesis after distributing the questionnaire. To test the quality of the questionnaire, the researcher used validity and reliability tests. The data analysis technique is quantitative data. With multiple linear regression testing, classical assumption test, partial test (t) and simultaneous test (F) and the coefficient of determination. Testing the results of research data using the SPSS V.22.0 application. From the data processing carried out, the regression equation Y = 2.635 + 0, 468X1 + 0.107X2 + e. Meanwhile, from hypothesis testing, namely the t-test, the t-count value of the Financial Literacy variable is 4.931 with a significance of 0.000, because the t-count > t-table (4.931 > 1.984) it can be concluded that financial literacy (X1) has a partial effect on financial management. Meanwhile, from the hypothesis testing conducted, the t-count value of the lifestyle variable is 1.113 with a significant 0.269, due to the t-count < t table (1.113 <1.984) it can be concluded that Lifestyle (x2) has no significant effect on financial management. Financial Literacy has a positive and significant effect on Financial Management with a coefficient of 0.468 while Lifestyle has a positive but not significant effect on Financial Management in Management Study Program Students, Faculty of Economics, Batanghari University.
