Abstract

ABSTRACT Wanda Pebriana / 1800861201110/ Faculty of Economics, University of Batanghari Jambi / The Effect of Motivation on Employee Performance at PT. Jaya Indah Motor (Hino) Jambi / Advisor 1 vi st Hj. Reni Devita, SE., M.M. / 2and Advisor Drs. Rasdi, MM. The purpose of this study was to describe the motivation and performance of employees at PT. Jaya Indah Motor (Hino) Jambi and to analyze the effect of motivation on employee performance at PT. Jaya Indah Motor (Hino) Jambi. In discussing this problem, the authors use quantitative descriptive methods, namely by conducting observations, interviews, or questionnaires about the subject under study, and using verification analysis, namely research conducted on certain populations or samples with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses. In this study, the population of this study were all employees at PT. Jaya Indah Motor (Hino) Jambi numbered 73 people. PT. Jaya Indah Motor (Hino) Jambi is located on Jl. which was previously located at Jl. HOS Cokroaminoto No. 1. Telanaipura, Jambi. and is now located at Jl. Lingkar Barat Pal 10, Recognize Asam Bawah, Kec. New Town, Jambi City. Based on the results of the study obtained a simple linear regression value, namely Y = 1.918 + 0.465X, with an R value of 0.426 and R2 0.181, motivation has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Jaya Indah Motor (Hino) Jambi with a tcount of 3.964 and a significance value of 0.000. Suggestions in this research are expected at PT. Jaya Indah Motor (Hino) Jambi to be able to continue to motivate those at PT. Jaya Indah Motor (Hino) Jambi by providing guidance and encouragement to employees for the company. And PT. Jaya Indah Motor (Hino) Jambi to continue to pay attention to performance related to dedication to the company by making improvements in the work business.
