Abstract

ABSTRACT Inggi Lestari /1900861201015/ Faculty of Economics, University of Batanghari Jambi / The Effect of Inflation and Kurs Rupiah on Share Prices Incorporated in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) Companies for the 2017-2022 Period /Advisor 1st Hj. Atikah, SE, M.M./ Advisor 2nd Ira Febrianti, SE, M.S.Ak. The purpose of this study was tofind out whether inflation and kurs rupiah affect the Share Price of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) Company for the 2017-2022 period simultaneously and partially. The analytical method used is quantitative data analysis method, namely the analysis used to test the relationship or influence of the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y). The analytical tools in this study are Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, hypothesis testing and the coefficient of determination (R2). From the results of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, it can be concluded that the regression equation Share price = 11.765 + 599.577Inflation – 0.434kurs rupiah, meaning that the constant value is 11.765 if the variable (X1, and X2) is 0 then the variable (Y) is 11.765 . The conclusions are, 1) Simultaneously, inflation and the rupiah exchange rate affect the price of shares incorporated in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) Company for the 2017-2022 period. 2) Partially, inflation has a positive effect on the price of shares incorporated in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the 2017-2022 period. Meanwhile, kurs rupiah negatively affects the price of shares incorporated in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) company for the 2017-2022 period.
