Abstract

ABSTRACT Della Dwi Mardiyanti / 1900861201019/2023 / The Effect of Competence on Employee Performance at PT. Jasa Raharja Jambi Province / Mr. Dr. Saiyidi Syekh, M.Si. as Advisor 1 and Mr. Muhammad Emil, S. E., M.M. as Advisor 2. Human resource management is a very important factor in an organization. With the regulation of professional human resource management, it is hoped that a balance between the needs of each employee and the demands and capabilities of the company's organization can be realized. Therefore the performance of a company cannot be separated from the human resources involved in it. Employee performance is oriented to how much employees give influence, effort and their contribution to the company. This study aims to describe the competence of employees and the performance of employees in the office of PT Jasa Raharja Jambi Branch. This study also aims to determine and analyze the influence of employee competence on the performance of employees at the office of PT Jasa Raharja Jambi Branch. The results of the study show that competence is based on an average overall score of 103.6 and is included in the fairly competent category. The employee performance variable has an average score of 104.7. Based on the results of the t test, there is an influence of competency variables on employee performance at PT Jasa Raharja Jambi Branch with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05.
