ABSTRACT Eka Fransiska Siringo Ringo/1900861201222/The Effect of Compensation on Employee Job Satisfaction in the Tissue Production Section at PT Lontar Popyrus Pulp And Paper Industry Jambi/Supervisor 1. Dr. H. Saiyid Syekh, M.Si/ Advisor 2 Ubaidillah, S.E, M.E. Compensation is very important for employees, because the size of the compensation is a measure of employee performance. This study aims to determine the description of compensation and job satisfaction of employees in the Tissue Production Department at PT. Lontar Papyrus Pulp And Paper Industry Jambi and to determine the effect of compensation on Job Satisfaction of Employees in the Tissue Production Section at PT. Lontar Papyrus Pulp And Paper Industry Jambi. Compensation is a very important thing for employees because big or small it is a reflection or measure of the value of the employee's work itself. While job satisfaction is a psychological aspect that reflects a person's feelings towards his work. This research method is descriptive quantitative using simple regression analysis. The research data were obtained from respondents through a questionnaire with a total of 55 employees as respondents. Statistical analysis was carried out using the SPSS 25 program. Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis above, it can be emphasized that significant results indicate that the validity test, reliability test and significant correlation values mean that there is a strong relationship, by using a scale where the compensation in the company PT Lontar Papyrus Pulp And Papeir Industry Tissue Production Section Jambi with an average regression test of 12,470. Analysis of Employee Job Satisfaction Level of PT Lontar Papyrus Pulp And Paper Industry Jambi Tissue Production Section, with a significant value of 78,831. The effect of Compensation on Employee Job Satisfaction at PT Lontar Papyrus Pulp And Papeir Industry Jambi Tissue Production Section by using the t test where the compensation at the company PT Lontar Papyrus Pulp And Papeir Industry Jambi Tissue Production Section on t test = 2.345, where t count 8.879 > t table 1.67385 which means significant.
