Abstract
ABSTRACT Leadership style in the company is needed so that the level of efficiency and employee performance can increase so that the company or organization can achieve its goals in accordance with the vision and mission. Employees are a very valuable company asset that must be managed properly by the company in order to make an optimal contribution. The purpose of this study is to describe the transformational leadership style and employee performance at PT. Telkom Property Jambi. In addition, this research was also conducted to determine the effect of transformational leadership style on employee performance at PT. Telkom Property Jambi. The research method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative method. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out by observation and questionnaires. Sampling was carried out using the census method so that 73 respondents were obtained. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the transformal leadership style based on the average overall score was included in the fairly good category with an overall average of 231.75. Then regarding the performance of employees at PT. Telkom Property Jambi according to respondents the average overall score is included in the high category with an overall average of 273.3. The independent variable (transformal leadership style) influences the dependent variable (employee performance) by 16.6% and the remaining 83.4% is influenced by other variables not included in the study. The results obtained show a significance value of less than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05 and tcount > ttable, namely 3.910 > 1.667 so that it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the transformal leadership style on the performance of employees of PT.
