Abstract
The success of a leader can be seen from the performance of his employees. High or low employee performance generally indicates whether a leader's leadership style is effective or not for his employees. Leadership style will influence the level of performance of subordinates which will also influence the work productivity of Paal Merah 2 Health Center employees, Jambi City. Paal Merah 2 Health Center Jambi City is one of the health centers in Jambi City which is located on JL. Lingkar Selatan II No.68 RT.45 Lingkar Selatan Subdistrict Paal Merah District, Jambi City which has been established since 2006. This health center has doctors- duty doctors who have shifts in doctor's examinations where each doctor is a general practitioner who has expertise in his or her department. This research aims to describe and analyze the leadership and performance of employees at the Paal Merah 2 Community Health Center, Jambi City. Data was obtained through questionnaires given to respondents, direct interviews with several sources, some data from community health centers, and other information deemed relevant and supporting this research. The analysis method used is quantitative descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. Statistical analysis was carried out using the SPSS 20 program. Based on the results of interviews and questionnaires, it shows that the leadership style and performance of employees at the Paal Merah 2 Community Health Center, Jambi City are good. The simple regression model obtained is: Y=10,739+0,544 X If Leadership Style increases by 1%, employee performance increases by 0.544. Based on the calculations, the calculated t number is 4.949 > t table 2.02809, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant influence between the Leadership Style variables and employee performance at the Paal Merah 2 Community Health Center, Jambi City.
